The 2024, Group 1 and Group 2, versions of the alternative certificate to enter higher specialty training have been published to the Document Library. The following versions of the certificate are acceptable for upcoming recruitment rounds:
- 2023 second round – the 2022, 2023 and 2024 versions are all acceptable, although any newly completed certificates should use the 2024 version.
- 2024 recruitment – only the 2024 version will be accepted.
- Beyond 2024 recruitment - it is expected that the 2024 version of the certificates will be accepted in 2025. Confirmation of which versions of the certificates will be permitted for that year’s recruitment will be included on the update of the certificate each year.
The core capability section of the website will also be updated with the rules when updates for that year are published.
