Kent, Surrey & Sussex (KSS)

In 2008, the KSS School of Medicine was rated as ‘excellent’ and the second-best in England by the Postgraduate Medical Education & Training Board (PMETB).  We are currently responsible for 125 trainees in CMT, and operate Specialty Training Committees for SpRs in Geriatric Medicine and Renal Medicine (as well as Dermatology).

Round 2

KSS Deanery does not have any vacant posts in the RCP-hosted specialties remaining from 2010 Round 1, nor any scheduled to arise before 2011. Thus it is not participating in 2010 Round 2.

Posts in some specialties may over-arch between London Deanery and KSS Deanery to a degree; however, in all such cases, London Deanery is responsible for recruiting to these posts.
