Round 2

To apply to ST3 posts within the RCP-hosted process, candidates will need to complete and submit an online application form. The link to this form will be made available from the Homepage of this website.

Please note that the 'Online Application/Login' link currently displayed is for the Round 1 application system - this is still on the homepage so as to allow Round 1 candidates to access and view their R1 applications.

Once Round 2 opens, at 9.00 am on Friday 27 August 2010, a distinct access button will be added to the homepage allowing candidates to register and begin completing their applications.

To register, candidates will need to provide an email address and password of their choosing. Please note that this email address will be the username used to log in on future visits to the system, and the address used by the SRO and by deaneries to contact candidates – so please ensure that this is working and that you will be able to access it regularly.

Candidates are permitted to submit a maximum of two applications per specialty, and can apply to as many specialties as they wish. Each application will be submitted to one deanery for consideration; and each application a candidate submits will be regarded as entirely separate and independent of any other application they submit.

The deadline for submitting completed applications is 12.00 midday (BST) on Monday 13 September 2010. Late applications WILL NOT be accepted.

Where candidates wish to submit multiple applications, there is a facility included in the system whereby certain information is copied across each time a candidate starts a new application, so as to prevent unnecessary repetition. Please note that this only applies to those sections where information would not be different between applications (name, address etc.); also, changing data in these fields on one application will change the data in those fields on all applications, even those which have been submitted.
